is designed to "illuminate" the NCTM Principles and Standards
for School Mathematics. The site contains a growing array of Lessons,
Tools and Web Resources for use in improving the teaching and learning
of mathematics. This site is part of the Marcopolo project, funded
by Worldcom.
Navigations Series
The Navigations
Series offers ideas, activities, materials to support the implementation
of Principles and Standards for School Mathematics. Use Navigations books
as a road map to make the vision of Principles and Standards a reality.
Research
Companion to the NCTM Standards
The Research Companion provides
the underpinnings of Principles and Standards that document
in the scholarly literature. It synthesizes a wide range
of research to provide valuable insight supporting NCTM’s
vision for school mathematics.
